The Association can now close the file on another successful Reunion with the attached letter from CN. He has allowed us to reconnect to the New Generation Navy and this will help us preserve the longevity of the association if they can seek us out for help when they separate from the Navy, irrespective of rank or station.
VADM Crane's patronage of our National Memorial Project will help us maintain a most valuable friendship with him.

I regret being unable to attend the 55th Anniversary International Reunion held 27-30 May. However, I understand from Rear Admiral Jones that it was an outstanding event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
I received today your letter of 16 July and I appreciate your views on the performance of our Navy people at the reunion. I am always very pleased to hear positive feedback from members of the wider Navy community who are as proud of our people as I am. The enclosed satchel of memorabilia, including the cap and polo shirt, was a pleasant surprise and I am grateful for your thoughtfulness.
Thank you again and congratulations on the success of the reunion.
