Vale: Colin (Curly) William Osland

Curly crossed the bar at 10:20pm on Monday 15/10/2018 aged 81 years.
Curly done two periods of service in the RAN.
First period of nine years from 7th April 1961 - April 1970
Second period as a PO/UW was from 10th May 1971 - 9th May 1982. Curly paid off in 1982 from HMAS Moreton.
Curly joined the RAN as a Rct/Smn from Brisbane.
He served in the following HMA Ships and Shore bases:
Cerberus, Watson, Queenborough, Penguin, Anzac, Sydney, Warrego, Greencape (Shore), Barcoo, Snipe, Teal, Lonsdale, Kuttabul and Hobart, Cresswell, Duchess and Moreton.
Some of his drafts was to the same ship more than once.
Colin was also a member of the Springwood Tri-Services Club.

Date and Time of Funeral: Thursday, 25th October 2018 at 10.00am

Place of Funeral: Newhaven Funerals, Eco Memorial Park, 21 Quinns Hill
Road West, Stapylton.

Our sincerest condolences to Colin's wife, Wendy, family and friends.

Farewell Shipmate and may your final voyage to that great harbour be with smooth seas and gently breezes.
